DESERIPTION
'WJ' Cast Steel Y - Type Strainers are manufactured with S.S. (AISI - 304) Screen with flanged ends to BS 10 Table 'J'. These strainers can also be supplied with flanges as per BS - 1560 Part -2 classs 300 and BS - 4504 PArt -1 Table 40/1.
These straihners are suitable for 350 PSIG (24.6 kg/Cm2) max steam pressure at 800o F (425oC) temp. and are tested at 700 PSIG (49.2 kg/Cm2g) Hyd. Pressure are tested at 700 PSIG (49.2 Kg/ Cm2g) Hyd. Pressure.
SALIENT FEATURES :
1)
 Fine finish and smooth contours reduce pressure drop in the strainer.
2)
 Large screening area makes the strainer efficient .
3)
 Screen is guided in the body.
4)
 Strainer may be installed in the down ward vertical lines with effectiveness equal to horizontal installation.
5)
 Drain plug is provided in larger sizes to drain off the foreign particles accumulated in the strainer.
TESTING AND CERTIFICATIZON :
All strainers are tested at double the max. working pressure. Each strainer is supplied with IBR Test Certificate in Form III - C issued by The Director of Boilers, Panjab.
